This is like reading Deathly Hallows all over again, that wonder, that getting quiet and despairing and loving and having each word and turn of phrase settle in some deep part of your mind where stories and beauty and happiness and thoughts grow. So, now that most of you have read Deathly Hallows, I can link you this and this, which are my reactions jotted down as I was reading.

I loved it. Loved it! And I loved reading that most of you loved it too!

Me and Merri were talking about the Epilogue (which I haven't read, nor am I really interested in doing so), and about how Joanne just stopped where she did and fast-forwarded to nineteen years later, completely disregarding that despite what happened in the final chapters, it is not over yet.

It seems we were all both right and wrong. I think it's the real deal. I have read the book, and I have read the previous six books, and I'm betting it's real.

In the unlikely case that it's not? Even better, because, Merlin, BEST FANFIC EVER. And I'll have two Deathly Hallows, and if given the chance, I'd buy the carpet version, and - well, it'll be difficult to believe ( Read more... )
